Events this week

ACS has several events this week, mostly to help us think through the election and its implications -- and how we can build our progressive movement from here. Here they are in chronological order (details below):

1. Monday 1:10-2:00 pm: Brown bag lunch with Arti Rai, rm 112. RSVP.

2. Monday 8 pm: Discussion - the election and our future

3. Tuesday 6pm: Discussion - the election and the judiciary

4. Wednesday 4pm: Social & Economic Inequalities strand meeting

Brown bag lunch: Arti Rai

Visiting Professor Arti Rai will discuss her career and academic interests, including intellectual property law and its influences on academia. Brown Bag Lunch, 1:10 - 2:00 pm, Monday, November 8th, Room 112

Spaces are limited, so please RSVP to Anne Cortina.

Discussion - the election and our future

Many of us have had a steady stream of conversations in the days since the election about the future: our world's, our country's, our party's, and our own.  In order to think about how to move forward from here, please join fellow law students for an informal but optimistic conversation, organized by ACS and the YLS Democrats:
Monday, November 8 -- 8:00 PM
Ethel Higonnet's Apt.
254 College St. (code = *0 simultaneously, then 2332)
We'll have snacks and refreshments
There will be no formal agenda or rigid organization.  It will be a chance for us all to share our ideas about the future and plan where we go from here.  We'll keep the conversation as forward-thinking and productive as possible.
Thanks, and hope to see you Monday.
