Hope everyone is having a good end of semester. We have a few things to talk about before the break. As soon as we come back at the end of January, we will be starting the Constitution in 2020 reading group, and planning other events leading up to our conference in April. If you think you might like to get more involved in any of these projects, please come to our

ACS Spring Planning Meeting

Thursday at 6pm

room 121

We also have two events scheduled for this Friday:
(1) Heather Gerken brown bag lunch, 12:00
(2) America in the World meeting, 1:00 (time change)

Heather Gerken brown bag

Didn't get a coveted spot in the "Law of Democracy" seminar? Fear not, there's still hope. ACS will be hosting a brown bag lunch with Harvard Law School democracy and election law expert Professor Heather Gerken.  The lunch is this Friday, December 17, at noon in Room 111. Gerken will talk with us about her own research, her ideas about democracy in the 21st century and the constitution in 2020, her career as a young professor, and her work with Harvard's ACS chapter.

Spaces are limited; please email Justin to RSVP or for more information.

America in the World Group meeting
Friday at 1:00
***TIME CHANGE***

Before we head out for Christmas break, we'll have a wrap up lunch to talk about some of the ideas that came up at the conference, and what we'll be doing next semester. Don't worry, this isn't about getting more work to do or anything like that. It's just a chance for all of us to start talking the substance of the issues that got us all interested in this group in the first place.

We'll meet this Fri., 12:30 in room 124. Hope to see you there!

Email Matt for more information.
